London Fashion Week

My mum won a pair of tickets to got to to London Fashion week. I was buzzing with excitement I had never been before and always wanted to. I went on Sunday the 25th of September and they were showcasing the Autumn/winter 2011 collection. I was by far the best fashion event I have ever been to. There were several rooms full of clothes and jewellery from a variety of cool and unique designers. They was something of everyone ranging from vintage to urban.
Grace Woodward was the host for the catwalk she was absolutely brilliant and witty.
I also receive a snazzy goodie bag :)

Until next time

YOHJI YAMAMOTO!

Hey,

On the 26th June I had the pleasure of going to see Yohji Yamamonto in conversation at the Victoria and Albert Museum. He is a famous Japanese fashion designer/dressmaker who has a great sense of humour.
He 's known for his timeless pieces and frequent use of the colour black.

Animal prints

Continuing from the summer 2010 maxed out patterns with animal prints,  autumn and winter 2010 continues the trend. Animal prints covered the Autumn catwalk collections, like Gucci and Mulberry.

Also animal hats part the trend with cute hats that are stylist and keep you warm.

Caping out!

Cape are an alternative to a coat. They  give a  you  a nice silhouette and are more sophisticated than they were popular in 1960s -ponchos. Because they do not have sleeves it is easy to move about.

They are major Autumn/ Winter 2010 trend and the catwalks were full of capes.

Camels in Autumn

Camel is one of the key colours for this autumn especially for coats. It is a slightly darker tone of the nude which was very popular in summer.
Consider swapping pieces of black with browns or Camel colours. This goes well with the bronze gold smokey eye which is HAWT this season.

Carmel goes very well with pastel pink. This colour has lasted through to winter with high street shops like Topshop having this collr in some of there main items....like a coat.....
